My Influenster VoxBox - Email If You Want One, Too

A few months ago, my sister invited me to become an "Influenster." It's a website that gives companies a chance to get the word out on their new products by giving them to consumers for free (anyone who wants to review products--definitely not just bloggers). You fill out information about yourself and see if you qualify to get a VoxBox (everyone I know eventually received one--although mine took a couple months to come). You can't choose what you're sent, they choose for you. It's all free, so if you're into reviewing projects, e-mail me and I can send you an Influenster invite. If not, ignore this, and continue about your day. Either way, here's my e-mail:
I received the #JollyVoxBox. Here is my honest review of the five products I received:

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer - Rating: C

@RimmelLondonUS / #ShowOffLipLacquer
Love the color, but coming from the Lip Smacker generation, I only wear lip products that smell/taste great and this is not one of them.

NYC New York Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow - Rating: B-

@NYCNewYorkColor / #HDColorTrio
Also, love the colors, but I prefer using a quad color palate (I use a different color for the brow bone highlight, crease, lid, and eyeline). The small size is handy, but almost too small, since the applicator is barely big enough to hold.
Here's a pic of me wearing both the eye shadow and lip lacquer. As you can tell, the colors are both pretty and neutral.

Duct Tape Ducklings Mini Rolls - Rating: D+

@TheDuckBrand / #MiniDucklings

This stuff is handy enough and plenty cute. I like that you can tear it easily with your hands, but it's really small and not very sticky, so I'm not sure what you'd use it for. I haven't found a use for it yet (that I didn't prefer a different kind of tape for).

MY FAVORITE! Skinny Cow Candy - Rating: A-

@TheSkinnyCow / #IndulgeWithSkinny

Definitely my favorite thing from my VoxBox. De-licious. These are tasty little morsels. For the times I'm craving chocolate and would be tempted to eat a half bag of chocolate chips (it happens), these would be a great low-calorie alternative. The only reason I didn't give them an A is because their per-unit cost is a bit pricey by my standards.

Puffs Plus Lotion Tissues - Rating: A-

@Puffs / #Passthepuffs
I'd consider our allergy-suffering family veritable connoisseurs of tissues and these lotioned lovelies are definitely the Cadillacs of tissues. And I LOVE these little handy packs. I never leave the house without one. Once again, the only thing holding this product from my A rating is the price. We buy our big box tissues from Costco and our "handy pack" size tissues from the dollar store (since we go through so many).

Update: I also received a free Annie's Homegrown Frozen Entree. We decided to get the lasagna kind. It was pretty good, but the real miracle was that my 3-year-old, who's never eaten a bite of pasta in his life, ate it! And said it was "yummy!" So I suppose I'll have to give that one an "A," too. :) #realfoodtastesbetter

And those are my reviews! Not gonna lie...getting my first VoxBox was more exciting than I imagined. Then again, I've always been a bit obsessed with getting "fun mail." :)
